During the match, an insert promo featured Kidd and Big Zeke challenging tag team champions Paul London and Brian Kendrick for the titles.

In a pair of pre-recorded promos, world heavyweight champion Edge and former champion MVP promoted their upcoming championship match at No Way Out. Edge, accompanied by Christian, reminded MVP of how he outsmarted the former champion to win the belt at Royal Rumble and said he’d do the same at No Way Out. He said he’ll also be in Christian’s corner this Monday night. MVP said that his Ghetto Strong Style would always prevail, and after he beats Captain Charisma on Raw, he’s coming after the championship.

The Marauders d. El Fragilico & Goldust (9:46 ~ Barrett d. Fragilico, Wasteland)

He said the doors are open for cruiserweight challengers from around the world, but he’s going to hold onto the gold no matter who he steps into the ring with.

Via satellite, Jim Ross attempted to interview Brock Lesnar about his attack on John Cena and Randy Orton at the Royal Rumble. However, every time JR asked a question, Lesnar refused to respond. Ross kept pressing asking why he’d returned and why he targeted Cena and Orton, but Lesnar kept quiet. Sheamus and Nigel have certainly formed a bond through their competition, and it benefited McGuinness tonight.

Next week on Superstars, former Intercontinental champions colide when The Miz faces off with Goldust! And new cruiserweight champion Rey Mysterio will be in action! Plus, we’ll find out the next superstar to enter the heavyweight Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out!

  • More superstars are added to the heavyweight and cruiserweight Chamber matches.

John Cena opened the show in the ring said that last week on Superstars, he received no answers and just a lot more frustration from Brock Lesnar’s so-called interview. He said whatever Lesnar’s motives were, it doesn’t concern him. If he has a problem, he can come see him like a man. But his focus is now on the Elimination Chamber. He said six men will battle for one shot to face the world champion at WrestleMania 27. He promised to outlast every superstar in that ring and go on to reclaim what should be his on the biggest stage of them all.

Paul London d. a local cruiserweight (3:17 ~ London Calling)
During the match, it was announced that the tag team champions Paul London and Brian Kendrick would both be competing in the cruiserweight Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out! With London being a former champion in the division and Kendrick a former singles champion in his own right, it should be interesting to see if these two compete as a unit in the Chamber.

Backstage, William Regal, Drew McIntyre and Wade Barrett (the Marauders) were interviewed. They said that while they still promised to bring down Intercontinental champion Sheamus (and Nigel McGuinness if he continues to get in their way), they all individually promise not to interfere in IC title match next week on Raw.

All he cares about is headlining WrestleMania and punting as many skulls as he has to to make that happen. The Miz interrupted and said that no one cared what Randy Orton had to say. Because at No Way Out, The Awesome One would come out victorious and would go to WrestleMania to become the most Must See WWE Champion of all time.

A promo video followed, introducing the RAW audience to Alex Riley and Dolph Ziggler, two former collegiate sports superstars (still sporting their varsity jackets), who promised to come to WWE and slam dunk the tag division. Their team name, Varsity, appeared on the screen afterward.

With priceless in shock, The WGTT announced the Road to WrestleMania Tag Team Invitational, in which four former tag team championship pairings would compete for an opportunity to face the tag team champions at WrestleMania.

Intercontinental champion Sheamus came to the ring for an interview, arriving to an enormous ovation. The Celtic Warrior addressed his challenger for next week, saying that Nigel McGuinness has long been a tough challenge for him. Next week, he vowed to move on from this challenge and go on to be the best Intercontinental champion of all time.

A short vignette promo played, featuring a dark valley and a small, rundown shack. On a rainy night, a pair of dark boots step up toward the building. “2 28 11” is displayed in burnt letters on the screen…

Christian d. MVP (11:15 ~ small package)
Captain Charisma made a successful in-ring return to WWE competition with a little help from the heavyweight champion Edge. The Rated R Superstar cornered Christian, and constantly frustrated an already-distracted MVP. Despite Edge never interjecting himself into the match directly, MVP spent too much time showboating and yelling at the champion, allowing Christian to roll the Ghetto Strong Style superstar up for the surprise pinfall!

Next week on Raw, The Intercontinental championship will be defended as former champion Nigel McGuinness tries to dethrone “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus! Plus, the Road to WrestleMania Tag Team Invitational will begin as The WGTT faces Broski Major with the winner going on to No Way Out! Backstage, Josh Mathews interviewed Evan Bourne after his tough defeat against world champion Rey Mysterio last night. Bourne said it was his first opportunity at the title, but it won’t be his last. His road back to the belt begins next week when he faces The Miz in a Money in the Bank qualifying match.

A highlight package featuring Intercontinental champion Sheamus played. Several challengers have been named for the tough Celtic Champion, as the championship committee has narrowed the list down to Nigel McGuinness, Mark Henry, Gregory Shane Helms, Mason Ryan, and Evan Bourne. The top two contenders will be announced on Superstars this week, and they will fight next week on Raw for a shot at the championship!

The World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) defeated
Priceless (Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase) when S. Benjamin pinned DiBiase
with the Paydirt in 0:24:20.

The WGTT is going to WrestleMania! In our main event, Benjamin and Haas were able to overcome the challenge of Rhodes and DiBiase by a narrow margin. Whoever comes out of next week’s tag team championship match with the belts will certainly have their hands full in one month at WrestleMani XXVII!
